The Kingly Club Heritage

The Pinstripe Club was where the 1960's rich and famous mixed, partied and exchanged numbers - all whilst enjoying plenty of champagne!

In its heyday, this legendary venue attracted regulars such as Oliver Reed, Peter O'Toole, Audrey Hepburn, George Best, Steve McQueen, Richard Harris and Laurence Olivier; even Marilyn Monroe & Tony Curtis visited whilst promoting the Hollywood classic 'Some Like it Hot'.

More infamously, it's where former government minister John Profumo met Christine Keeler, and the notorious 'Profumo Scandal' began. It all ended in tears of course, and the legendary Pinstripe Club was eventually closed down as a result of the scandal.

On the very same site today, here at The Kingly Club we celebrate this heritage. We are absolutely committed to maintaining the glamour, mystique and style of this privileged venue.
